" the Leyland Leopard"
LNU 571W was a Leyland Leopard coach originally operated by Barton Transport of Nottingham. It carried the fleet number 571 and was regularly seen on route 5B to Nottingham.
After its service with Barton, the vehicle was acquired by Harpur’s Coaches of Derbyshire, where it continued in operation until around 2002, after which it was withdrawn from service.
September 2025
After over 10 years dry stored it is time to bring 571 over to the new workshop to start its restoration process. A lot of work is needed to be done to bring 571 back to the original Barton Transport Livery!
